OUR APPROACH

We are making a regenerative world REAL

Our vision to create a regenerative world is by no means a new idea. This is a way of seeing the world and engaging with life that indigenous peoples have practiced for millennia all over the world. What regenerative practice is and isn´t:
Times of crisis require greater trust, compassion and collaboration than ever before. This is why:
What is a maker?

Being a ¨Maker¨ means working in the uncertain messy places where one world is unravelling and helping to weave a new world into existence.

Makers of Change, then, are people who have the skills, courage and tenacity to occupy these in-between spaces with open minds and hearts, who will change and transform current broken, extractive, and inequitable systems to regenerative, healing and equitable ones.

At CM Space we strive to make a regenerative world the sexiest, most enlivening and realistic one imaginable.

Our approach is guided by five key principles

Our Approach

LONGEVITY

The impact of our decisions will be felt long after we are gone. We consider seven generations ahead, marginalised peoples, and the more-than-human world in decision making.

INTEGRITY

The measure of a person is their integrity. We are committed to authenticity, transparency and making real the visions we are entrusted with.

REGENERATION

Life creates more life. We facilitate spaces and projects that increase the vitality, vibrancy and viability of each place we work in.

MOVEMENT

The changes we make move people. Change finds a place to land in the body of an organisation or system through movement.

LISTENING

The ability to be with what is real, the here and now. We listen deeply to the patterns and essence of things, working from the tangible to the visionary and back again.

Our Approach

How we work?

At CM Space we work on both sustaining the natural environment for future generations and work with businesses, institutions and communities to regenerate the wider systems we are part of.

Our Approach

Why take a regenerative approach?

We take a regenerative approach in our work, meaning we focus on developing the capacity and capability for systems evolution. This is not about maintaining what is, or restoring something to what it was. Rather, it is about creating living systems (e.g. places, companies, and communities) that have the capacity to evolve toward increasing states of health and vitality over time. (Gorissen et. al., 2024)
