Our work with Morphum Environmental Ltd. has shown how investing in vision, strategy, organisational culture, leadership development and wellbeing pay dividends. At the beginning of Covid-19 in 2020, Morphum bravely embarked on their Mission Renewal project, where Ciara facilitated an organisational-wide reimagining process.
This led to the adoption of a new vision ¨Co-creating thriving ecosystems¨; values or strands of the business, which doubled as the new business model; and a re-brand for Morphum in the second half of the year.
As a result of this project:
- Revenue and FTE doubled during a time of global economic downturn and unrest.
- A new office opened in Christchurch
- Important company initiatives began including innovating new pricing models using the business's intellectual property
- Reporting on and closing the gender pay-gap
- Morphum signed up to Diversity Accord and began reporting on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion metrics annually
- Leadership learning and development on Te ao Maori principles and practices and the relationship between indigenous people and Morphum´s work with Te Taiao (the environment) began, before being rolled out to all employees.
- The Australian office created a Reconciliation Action Plan
- Morphum produced a second Sustainability Report (written by Ciara)
- The number of employee shareholders increased with a view to increasing the number of women in leadership roles and female shareholders
